The APMS 2025 Conference invites researchers and professionals to submit papers for special sessions on key topics, including digital platforms, circular strategies, AI, supply chain resilience, Industry 4.0 & 5.0, and sustainability. This is an opportunity to contribute to advancing the future of sustainable manufacturing, logistics, and supply chains.

Special Session with MAASive:

Enhancing Value Chain Resilience through Digital Technologies

Session Objectives and Scope:

Value chains face disruptions from geopolitical tensions, climate change, and evolving consumer expectations, exposing vulnerabilities in global supply networks. Advanced approaches like Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS) and digital technologies are transforming supply and value chains, offering flexibility, scalability, and resilience. Digitalization enhances real-time visibility, predictive analytics, and agile responses, ensuring continuity. This session explores the role of digital technologies in resilient value chains, focusing on themes like value chain resilience frameworks, value chain resilience metrics, value chain resilience and sustainability, decentralized and digital manufacturing, tools and frameworks for MaaS, gamification and tools for resilience-related and digital skills development.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Paper Length: 12-15 pages (following Springer author guidelines)

  • Templates: Available for Word and LaTeX

  • Submission: Papers should be submitted to the relevant special sessions for focused discussions.

  • Proceedings: Accepted papers will be published by Springer in the IFIP AICT series, indexed by Web of Science and Scopus.

Important Dates:

  • Full Paper Submission: 21 March 2025 – 11 April 2025 (no extensions)

  • Review Results Notification (1st Round): 19-26 April 2025

  • Revised Paper Submission: 23 May 2025

  • Final Review Results: 6 June 2025

  • Camera-Ready Paper Submission: 20 June 2025
